MARCH FOR BABIES - MAY 1ST

We have been given the opprotunity to be the Ambassador Family for the March of Dimes walk this year. We are so honored to be able to do this and give back to such an important organization. HAPPY BIRTHDAY - BRODY, MARLEY & MACY

Time flies by so quickly. It was exactly this time one year ago I went for a regular scheduled OB appointment and found out the babies would be making their grand entrance. This year has been filled with so much emotion for our family. I cannot begin to describe the ciaos that fills our house each day. It a good craziness though. All the babies are sitting up and crawling around everywhere. For some reason the bathroom is their favorite spot. If one goes missing you know you can always check there. Brody has starting cruising the furniture and tables now. I expect him to start walking in a couple weeks. Things should really get busy then. Macy is pulling up on everything but hasn't learned that her feet will move yet. Marley is still a little behind them but she is watching closely. She gives the best kisses anytime she gets near someone. She is the sweetest little thing. Its been a long, tiring year but so well worth it. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR LITTLE MIRACLES!!!

IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!!!!

Just a few shots of our Christmas trees. We always have one "pretty" tree and then we have what we refer to as our "honky tonk tree". The honky tonk one is the most fun to decorate. Each year as we pull out ornaments that are as old as Wes and I, we take a trip down memory lane. My 1st Christmas ball, ornaments from when we graduated, our 1st Christmas, our 1st house, Mallory's homemade ornaments, etc. It is decorated like the trees that we grew up with. Colored lights, tinsel, blinking star. We added 3 new ornaments to it this year. How fun it was to hang 3 "Baby's First Christmas" balls.

Mallory - 5 Years Old

My how our little girl has grown. I snapped a few pics of her before we went for Christmas portraits. I remember so vividly our first Christmas with her. Its all still so fresh - She was sitting in her Papasan chair in a pink sleeper with christmas lights all over it. Wes and I had a ball opening all of her presents and showing them to her. She didn't have a clue b/c she was only 2 months at the time.

9 MONTHS AND WE ARE STILL ALIVE

The babies turned 9 months on Thanksgiving Day. This Thanksgiving was extra special and boy do we have lots to be thankful for. With all the "what if's" that were thought during my pregnancy and the first weeks after the birth, we are so blessed everyone home and healthy.

MERRY, MERRY CHRISTMAS

I think we bombarded Santa tonight. After taking our Christmas portraits, we decided to go see Santa at the mall. Now tell me how I can get 4 kids to look at the camera and SANTA looks away!!!!!!

Brody is sitting up!!!!!

I am proud to say......Brody is sitting up. He thinks he is something now. I can't wait till the girls start b/c he seems so much happier. He will sit on the floor and entertain himself now, which is wonderful. We are moving at a slower pace but they will all catch up sooner or later. I can't wait to see them all sitting in a circle playing with each other.

Halloween 2009

This was such an exciting Halloween for our family. We had 3 little monkeys and a beautiful mermaid this year. Brody, Marley & Macy only stayed in their costumes long enough to take these pictures. Mallory, on the other hand, had been wearing her Ariel costume for a month prior to the big day! Nana had her annual Halloween Bash and it was complete madness as usual. One year I am going to put a sign in book at the door to see how many people come. She loves it and I think everyone looks forward to it every year. We had a blast and I think the babies really enjoyed getting out for a change.

ONE WAY TO LOOK AT THINGS

You know, 3 babies can be VERY expensive......I saw these bibs and couldn't resist. For the first time in my life I can't wait to do my taxes!!!

Great - Great Aunt Carol's Visit

We had a special visitor today. The kid's GREAT, GREAT Aunt Carol and Uncle Keith from New York came to visit. Thank you so much for the gift cards to Wal-Mart! The babies decided they are going to buy diapers with them :)

THE FIGHTS ARE STARTING EARLY

The babies are really noticing each other now. They will reach for the same toys and Brody loves to grab one of the girls if they are close enough.

I just love this picture. I've heard so many stories about Wes sucking 2 fingers when he was little. Looks like we have one that is going to take after Daddy.

JUST SOME FUN PICTURES

You know.... digital cameras are great but they have one downfall. It seems you never actually get the pictures developed. I was just scrolling through my camera and found I have 500 pictures on my memory card. I don't think I have developed picutres since Easter. Here are some that we wanted to share. All the babies are so happy. Since we don't have much hair yet, the girls got "bow bands". We tried one on Brody so he wouldn't feel left out! :)

4th of July

I can't believe the babies are almost 5 months and this is the first family picture we have taken. Those first few months were just utter chaos and we never stopped long enough to get one.

Big Sister is really growing up

I realized today that my little girl is growing up. We always stand in front of the mirror each morning and talk while I brush her hair. Anyone that knows Mallory, knows she noramlly has a big bow in her hair at all times. I put her ponytail in and then preceeded to add the bow as the finishing touch. This morning was a bit different. She didn't want the bow. I told her that she looks beautiful with bows and why on earth would she not want to wear one. She told me that bows were for babies and all the kids at school ask why her mom always makes her wear one. FOR THE RECORD...There are lots of kids at her school with bows. So, thank you kids, my child has now outgrown bows!!!

Babies at 7 weeks

This was the first group picture we were able to get of the babies. In the NICU they were always in different areas. We tried to strech the cords but we could never get all 3 in the same picture. How sweet is this!!!!!

My First Post

Hopefully this will help us stay in contact with everyone and also let you see how fast the babies are growing. Life is definitely a whirlwind right now. Please be patient as we learn to navigate the world of "blogging".
